  • The Great Bike Hike
    The Great Bike Hike adventure takes another step forward on Wednesday 5th October when Bevan Dellar (Chairperson), Maurice Embley (Community Co-ordinato)and Andrew Budge (Bike Ride Co-ordinator) survey the ride route between Perth and to Broome. 

    We invite everybody to learn about this epic adventure.   Awareness-raising sessions with full information will be held at the following towns:
    • Geraldton -      Wednesday 5th October at 6.30pm, 
                             Midwest Community Living Assoc., 4 Armstrong Street
    • Carnarvon -     Thursday 6th  October at 6.30pm, 
                             Gascoyne Development Commission, 15 Stewart Street
    • Karratha -       Friday 7th October at 6.00pm,
                             Lotteries House, 7 Morse Court
    • Port Hedland - Saturday 8th October at 11.00am,
                             Gatwick Hall Civic Centre, McGraw Street
    • Broome -         Monday 10th October at 10.30am, 
                             Notre Dame University

    These community sessions are designed to raise awareness, to champion the Count Me In vision and to provide support to help the communities become more welcoming and affirming places for people with disability, mental illness their families and carers.

    Participants on the ride will include paralympians and vision-impaired cyclists as well as able-bodied cyclists.
