Operation
Incorporation
The Group was previously known as Parents and Friends of
Fairholme Association Inc. and incorporated in accordance with
provisions of the Associations' Incorporations Act 1987 on the May
29 1989. The name change to Fairholme Disability Support Group
Inc became effective from September 22, 2003.
Licences
Australian Business Number (ABN)
The Group obtained its Australian Business Number (21 902
498 771) in November 1999, and became registered for GST more
recently in January 2011.
Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR)
Since 2007 the Group is entitled to receive tax
deductible gifts in accordance with the Deductible Gift Recipient
regulations administered by the Australian Taxation Office.
All monies donated or gifted in favour of the Group for the amount
of $2 or more can be claimed as a tax deduction.
Charitable Collections Licence
Granted by the Department of Commerce, the Group
Charitable Collections Licence Number: 20543 was first issued
in 2006 and is now valid until September 2012.
