Constitution, Codes, Policies and Operating Procedures:
The Group has a strong focus on governance, planning and
communication which is carried out in accordance with the
constitution, codes, policies and operating procedures as detailed
below:
Constitution
The Constitution of the Group is periodically reviewed to ensure
compliance with various legislation requirements governing the
conduct and operation for not for profit organisations.
The most recent reveiw of the Constitution was in November
2009.

Pro-forma
The Group is audited annually by a certified Auditor [currently
Kelvin Westaway and Associates] with all financial documentation
sent to the Dept of Commerce.
The Group is registered [ABN 21 902 498 771] with the Australian
Taxation Office [ATO] as an Australian Business effective from
November 1, 1999 and also GST registered effective from February
14, 2011.
FDSG also has a charitable collections licence obtained through
the Dept of Commerce. Also the Group is for public benevolence and
non-profit making Public Benefit Institution [PBI] and Deductible
Gift Recipient [DGR] status has been given under section 30B of the
Income Assessment Act 1907. As such, the ATO allows any donation
made to the Group over $2.00 to be tax deductible.
